  BRAIN INJURY RELATED RESEARCH:    
Research activities address the following issues:
     

Assessment, treatment and outcome of rehabilitation as regards adults with acquired brain injury in the post-acute phase of treatment

Emphasis on the physical, cognitive, emotional, personality and social sequelae of brain injury.

 
       

Techniques include:

   
       

Assessment of cognitive, emotional, physical, social, occupational/educational functioning based on qualitative and quantitative methods: objective tests of specific functions and use of interviews, questionnaires

  POTENTIAL EDUCATIONAL COLLABORATION   The unit can provide teaching of rehabilitation principles for adults with acquired brain injury (disorders, assessment, treatment) at all 3 levels

1. LEVELS PRIOR TO PH.D. STUDIES

2. PH.D. LEVEL

3. POSTDOCTORIAL LEVEL

Students/Practitioners are welcome to visit the unit and participate in selected activities for up to a week at a time
